Today Forbes released the 2017 Midas List, an annual ranking of the top 100 technology investors, created in collaboration with TrueBridge Capital. After seven years working with Forbes, we continue to develop deeper insight into the tech world and even stronger relationships with leading venture capitalists, who supply us with their confidential deal data. From that data, we are also able to develop a broader picture of the VC industry and identify key trends that are changing the venture landscape worldwide.
Each year the Midas List is more competitive, with an ever-increasing number of submissions. VCs in the top 10 averaged 12 deals involving companies with at least a $200 million acquisition or IPO, or a private valuation of more than $400 million.
